Students should apply to the program in the first term of their senior year in order to be advised appropriately regarding planning for undergraduate and graduate course selections. No dual enrollment will be required. Other requirements include a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.2 for admission and subsequent enrollment into the SUGS program in Materials Science and Engineering. A maximum of 9 credits of prior-approved course work may be double counted. Only technical electives and/or general electives may be double counted. None of the 47 required Materials Science and Engineering credits may be used for the graduate degree.
